On 21/9 , in the city . Hue , Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee and the Ministry of Culture, has co-organized the conference ” Conservation and sustainable development of World Heritage Sites in Vietnam : Looking back 20 years and the future direction of Hue Heritage ” . Deputy Dang Thi Bich Lien has attended and chaired the conference .
The conference is an event within the framework of activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the population of Hue Monuments by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage , elegant 10-year music – music imperial Vietnam is honored by UNESCO cultural heritage intangible representation of humanity .
Speaking at the conference , Deputy Minister Dang Thi Bich Lien said Vietnam was considered UNESCO , 7 recognized cultural heritage and the natural world , seven cultural heritage intangible representation of humanity , 3 memories and heritage materials , 8 the world biosphere Reserve , one global geological park in Hue relics that legacy of Vietnam was first recognized as a world cultural Heritage . Over 20 years , thanks to the support of local organizations and international management , restored and embellished to promote heritage values is increasingly high , thus , the number of tourists visiting increasing the annual heritage .
According to Deputy Minister Dang Thi Bich Lien : Cultural Heritage in Vietnam in general , Cultural Heritage and Nature World in particular , are faced with the negative impact arising from the change in the development – economic and social changes of the natural environment , particularly the construction and renovation of buildings do not follow standard planning , flooding , pollution , … the negative impact that led to the decline of heritage value , should be studied together and discussed to find objective reasons , all relating to each step to prevent and mitigate emerging risks daily , hourly .
To prevent and minimize the risk of loss of heritage value , next time , the heritage building urgently overall management plan appropriate , practical abreast of heritage , and also to continuously upgrading the forum world heritage in Vietnam to preserve the integrity of the global outstanding value , integrity and authenticity of heritage , strict implementation of the provisions of the UNESCO contributes to rich repository cultural heritage of mankind and nature .
At the meeting , the participants reviewed the 20-year journey preserve cultural heritage of Hue and the opportunities and challenges in the conservation of world heritage in Vietnam .
Accordingly , in 1993 , the population of Hue Monuments recognized with 17 different vestige . Currently, Hue cultural heritage passed emergency rescue phase and gradually revived , transitioned to stable and sustainable development . The preservation of cultural heritage values are closely associated with the extraction process , promote and facilitate the socio-economic development of the province and the central region , which focus on tourism and services . The preservation of the cultural heritage of Hue are deployed on the surface as preserved, restored monuments , preservation of intangible cultural , conservation , environmental restoration and landscape heritage ; cooperation international application of scientific advances conservation and training of human resources to promote heritage values .
