Taste of Australia 2018

Taste of Australia is a partnership between the Australian Government and Australian and Vietnamese producers, distributors, retailers, restaurants, and organisations. This partnership showcases the best that Australia has to offer and brings this to the whole of Vietnam, led by Taste of Australia Ambassador celebrity chef Luke Nguyen.

The second annual Taste of Australia in 2017 was a huge success, encompassing 24 official events and 44 partner events across Vietnam, and expanded on the inaugural Taste of Australia in 2016 by focusing on not only food, beverages and education but also fashion and design. For its third year Taste of Australia will have a focus on music, to diversify Vietnamese industry and consumers’ experience of Australian culture.

Taste of Australia events will be held across Vietnam in April, focusing on Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang and Nha Trang, and will include community BBQs, a wine and music pairing reception, 45th Anniversary Galas, NOSH Supperclub Dinners, an Epic Aussie Brunch, a public food and wine show, and the third annual Taste of Australia Culinary Competition.

The 2018 Taste of Australia will also encompass celebrations for the 45th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Australia and Vietnam, which will be commemorated throughout the events.
