HCM City Tourism Festival offers promotional tours for summer

At the opening, more than 20 travel agents in the city announced their decision to offer a discount of 15 to 50 percent on tour prices for customers, with the target of a 20 percent increase in their revenue as compared to the 2017 event.

Preferential services are also provided by businesses working in the hotel, restaurant, transport, and entertainment industries for visitors at the event.

Under the theme ‘Discovering Summer’, the festival also includes seminars on increasing the efficiency of online tourism activities, performances of Don Ca Tai Tu (traditional musical art form of the south), sport dances, a lucky draw, and art programs.

The festival is an annual event hosted by the city’s hospitality sector in order to stimulate tourism, while creating a venue for the city’s travel agents to introduce their products and services to customers.

The festival will run until April 15 and is expected to attract approximately 400,000 visitors.
