95/ Last day to register for the Public Forum

Today (16 September) is the last day to register for this year’s WTO Public Forum. Participants interested in attending this year’s Forum should submit an online application form no later than midnight today. Last minute and onsite registrations will not be accepted. Participation at the Forum is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs are to be borne by participants.
The 2019 Public Forum, entitled “Trading Forward: Adapting to a Changing World”, will be held at the WTO headquarters in Geneva from 8 to 11 October. The provisional programme is available here.

Background
The Public Forum is the WTO’s largest annual outreach event. It provides a unique platform for heads of state, parliamentarians, leading global business people, students, academics and non-governmental organizations to come together and debate on a wide range of WTO issues and on some of the major trade and development topics of the day. Over 1,500 participants attend the Forum each year.
