84/ Webinar to explore role of regulatory cooperation in easing access to medical technologies

On 2 June 2021, a panel of experts will discuss regulatory cooperation and its role in facilitating access to medical technologies, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Experts from governments, international organizations and the private sector will focus on the opportunities of regulatory cooperation and the challenges faced. From a diverse range of perspectives, panellists will share their insights on how regulatory authorities can cooperate to facilitate access to medical technologies and maintain the quality, safety and effectiveness of these technologies.

The webinar is an integral part of the “Virtual Course on Trade and Public Health with a Special Focus on the COVID-19 Pandemic” and is open to the public.  It will take place on 2 June 2021, from 13:30 to 15:00 (CET).
