ISO site goes live with three official languages:  you can now browse in Russian.
In 2017 ISO turned 70, and since our founding we’ve been bringing people together to create International Standards that make the world a better place.
With consensus and voluntary adoption at the centre of the ISO way, it should come as no surprise that communication between people and shared understanding are big parts of what we do.

Language matters

That’s why, since 1947,  we have had three official languages: English, French and Russian.
It helps involve greater numbers of people in the process by making information about what we’re working on, and why standardization matters, available in three widely-spoken languages.
You can select your preferred language in the top-right corner of this page.
Or simply click here to visit the homepage of our site in Russian.
