Online registration for this year’s Public Forum must be completed no later than 16 September 2019. Last minute and onsite registrations will not be accepted for the event, which takes place from 8 to 11 October. Participation at the Forum is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs are to be borne by participants.

The 2019 Public Forum, entitled “Trading Forward: Adapting to a Changing World”, will be held at the WTO headquarters in Geneva. The online registration form, which must be completed by all participants, is available here.

The Forum will have 137 sessions focusing on services, youth and strengthening the trading system. The provisional programme is available here.

Background

The Public Forum is the WTO’s largest annual outreach event. It provides a unique platform for heads of states, parliamentarians, leading global business people, students, academics and non-governmental organizations to come together and debate on a wide range of WTO issues and on some of the major trade and development topics of the day. Over 1,500 participants attend the Forum each year.
